Welcome to the Cat Association of Tasmania Inc. (CAT)
We are a founding member body of the Australian Cat Federation (ACF) and Tasmania’s original cat registry founded in 1966.
CAT promotes the importance of good animal husbandry as well as excellence in breeding and prides itself on the integrity of its registration practices. We hold regular championship shows to help our members (and other exhibitors) gain insight into their breeds as well as the thrill of show wins and titles. We offer mentorship of new breeders by a team of All Breed Judges with vast breeding and cat fancy experience.

The CAT Inc committee reminds exhibitors that Cat of the Year awards are open to all CAT members. CAT rules allow members of other organisations to join. Membership application form
The AGM held on April 17th saw Lesley Morgan returned as President, Helen Farmer installed as Vice President and Minute Secretary while Sue Byrom remains as Treasurer/Public Officer.
